The 2026 Rate Range: PKR 180–300 per kg
Our current galvanizing rates range from PKR 180 to PKR 300 per kg of steel, depending on section size, surface condition and quantity. For orders above 20 tons, the minimum rate is PKR 180 per kg.
Why such a wide band? Galvanizing is charged by weight, but the zinc you consume is determined by surface area. Thin, light sections — expanded mesh, wire, small angles — carry far more surface area per kilogram than a heavy beam or thick plate, so they sit at the upper end of the range. Heavy, simple sections at volume sit at the lower end.
What Drives the Price
- Section size and shape — thin sections = more surface area per kg = more zinc consumed.
- Quantity — larger batches amortise kettle setup, racking and handling; 20+ ton orders unlock the PKR 180/kg floor.
- Surface condition — rusty or painted steel needs extra sandblasting or pickling before dipping.
- Fabrication content — venting, drainage holes, racking design and welding add pre-treatment work.
- Turnaround — standard 24–48 hours; fast-track or urgent slots may carry a premium.
Worked Example
A 22-ton order of mixed structural sections (beams, channels, angles) with clean mill scale would price at the PKR 180/kg floor — roughly PKR 3.96 million for the full batch. The same tonnage in expanded metal mesh, with its huge surface area, would price toward PKR 250–300/kg. This is why the cheapest way to buy galvanizing is to send heavy, clean, simple steel in big lots.
How to Get an Accurate Quote
Send us a simple item list: product type, sizes (or section numbers), quantities and tonnage, and whether the steel is new or rusty. Our engineers reply with a firm, same-day price — no hidden extras. Fabrication-plus-galvanizing turnkey packages are quoted separately.
