Anti-slip chequered plates for flooring, ramps, truck beds and stair treads — cut to size, drilled, edge-dressed and hot-dip galvanized after cutting so the full 85–120 µm zinc coating seals every edge and hole.
Overview
Chequered plate gives you a durable, low-cost anti-slip surface wherever vehicles or people move. We stock and process MS chequered plate from 1.6 mm to 10 mm, plasma-cut to your panel sizes, with holes and slots drilled before dipping — never after, so no bare metal is ever left exposed.
Galvanizing after cutting is the difference between a floor that lasts 5 years and one that lasts 25. Cut edges on raw plate are bare steel; once the complete panel goes through our kettle, edges, drilled holes and weld zones all carry the same certified zinc coating as the face of the sheet.

Galvanizing Process Notes
Thin chequered sheets can distort in a molten zinc bath, so we control immersion angle and speed carefully, using weighted racking where needed. Panels are quenched slowly and checked flat on a surface table before dispatch — your floor stays level, and the zinc stays certified.
